Family photos shouldn't feel like a chore or look like a department-store backdrop. My sessions are loose and playful — we walk, we talk, the kids do their thing, and I catch the in-between moments that you'll recognize as your people years from now.
Del Mar is coastal California at its most polished — bluff-top parks, a walkable village, and beaches that glow at sunset. It sits right below the Torrey Pines reserve, so we can pair manicured park lawns with wild sandstone cliffs in a single session.
Local know-how: Powerhouse Park is popular for weddings and books through the city — reserve early. Beach access is via bluff stairs, so we plan for mobility when needed.

Yes — About 25 minutes north of downtown San Diego along the coast. Del Mar is part of my regular service area.
What should we wear?+
Once you book, I send a simple wardrobe guide — coordinated, not matchy, in soft tones that suit San Diego light. It takes the guesswork out of the night before.
What if our kids won't cooperate?+
They rarely 'cooperate,' and that's the point. I shoot around the chaos rather than fighting it — some of the best frames come from the moments most people would call a fail.
