Proposals

San Diego Proposal Photography

The moment of the yes — captured without anyone knowing I'm there.

A proposal happens once and lasts about ninety seconds. I hide in plain sight and document the whole thing — the walk up, the drop to one knee, the reaction, the phone calls right after — so you actually have the moment, not just the memory of it.

I'll help you scout a spot with good light and clean sightlines, plan the signal, and stay invisible until it's time to step out for a few celebratory portraits.

Proposal photography questions

How do you stay hidden?+

I scout the spot ahead of time, blend in as another person with a camera, and we agree on a subtle signal for the moment. She won't know until it's over.

What if she says no to photos after?+

Almost everyone is thrilled once they realize it was captured. I keep the post-proposal portraits short and low-pressure — five or ten happy minutes, then I'm out of your way.
