Temecula wine country is San Diego's answer to Napa — rolling vineyards, hot-air balloons at dawn, and a cluster of wineries built specifically for weddings. The light through the vines at golden hour is genuinely special.
The valley's wineries and estates each photograph differently depending on the time of day, so we'll plan around the light.
Getting there: About 60 minutes north of San Diego.
Local know-how: Summer afternoons run hot inland — we shoot early or late and build in shade. Most wineries require you to use their preferred vendors for the venue but welcome outside photographers; I'll confirm per site.
