A maternity session marks a season that doesn't last long. We'll shoot at the coast or in soft window light, keeping it elegant and relaxed — flowing fabric, warm sun, and portraits that celebrate this stretch of the story.
Carlsbad has the most variety of anywhere in North County — wide state beaches, the famous spring Flower Fields, the calm Batiquitos Lagoon, and a cluster of the region's best wedding resorts. Whatever the season, there's a strong backdrop within a few minutes' drive.
Local know-how: The Flower Fields require paid admission and are wildly popular in April — weekday mornings are the move. The Crossings and Aviara are hilltop venues with sweeping sunset views to the west.

Do you travel to Carlsbad?+
Yes — About 35 minutes north of downtown; central to all of North County. Carlsbad is part of my regular service area.
How many weeks along should I be?+
Around 30–34 weeks is the sweet spot — a clear, comfortable bump before things get too tiring. If you're carrying multiples, we'll shoot a little earlier.
Do you provide gowns?+
I'll send guidance on what photographs well — flowing fabrics and soft tones are a good place to start.
