Coronado Couples Photographer
For anniversaries, date nights, or just because. In Coronado, that means spots like Coronado Central Beach and Hotel del Coronado.
You don't need a wedding or an engagement to get good photos of the two of you. Couples sessions are for anniversaries, a season you want to remember, or simply because it's been too long since there was a nice photo of you together.
Coronado feels like a small town that happens to have a world-famous beach. The wide, sparkling sand in front of the Hotel del Coronado is some of the prettiest in California, and the island's quiet, tree-lined streets make for a relaxed, classic backdrop.
Local know-how: The bridge backs up at rush hour — budget extra time or take the ferry. Beach ceremonies need a Coronado permit; the flat, wide sand is stroller- and grandparent-friendly.

Downtown skyline framing and a working pier for engagements.

Coronado couples photography questions
Where do you shoot couples photos in Coronado?+
Coronado Central Beach, Hotel del Coronado, Centennial Park are my go-to spots for couples sessions here. The mica-flecked sand actually sparkles at sunset — unmistakably Coronado.
Do you travel to Coronado?+
Yes — About 20 minutes from downtown across the Coronado Bridge. Coronado is part of my regular service area.
We're awkward in photos. Can you help?+
Everyone says that, and everyone loosens up. I give simple prompts — movement, not poses — so you're doing something together rather than staring down a lens.
